There is such thing as too much color - sometimes it's overdone. Believe me, I'm generally the first one to cross that "too much going on" rule. But this wedding as found on the blog, Love and Lavender, is the perfect way to go crazy with bold bright colors for a wedding. They used enough colors in all of the accessories and details of the wedding that gave it a big punch of personality!
Definitely got the wheels turning... :)

Paper Lanterns...The Obsession Continues!
Two posts in one day? Whaaaat!? Good, glad that reaction is over with. After hemming and hawing over whether or not to post a second (I can't believe it either) time today, I decided to go ahead and do it. This is short because it's mostly just a continuation of my current paper lantern obsession. I found some new pictures of events with paper lanterns, and I couldn't stop flipping out.
So, without further ado, how could you not love these? They are absolute perfection. Most can be found on my favorite blog Style Me Pretty!

This last one is my fav-or-rite. It's amazing the way they manipulated this large venue and filled it with color and made in look perhaps a little less rustic!

It's Summer!
As I've stated before, I love color. Anything to do with it. I've always believed that you can use whatever color you want for your wedding or event, regardless of the season. However, I also believe that they need to be paired with the right color in order to do so.
My latest color obsession is the combination of teal and tangerine. It's a great way to use orange in the summer, rather than only in the fall (along with the browns and reds).
As found on the SwishList, here's some examples of how to combine the two colors. It brightens my mood, doesn't it brighten your day as well?
